I’am Happy because I know I should be!
My life has been packed of sweet, spicy and sour ingredients.. ..mix all together and will create a tasty life..
A mixture of life that will lead us to a half bake, perfectly cook or ended up to an over cooked journey.
.. We only live once..
Cook your life with enough ingredients of great experiences and seasonings of hardships so you be cooked to what should you be..
I’am now cooking my life to a beautiful cup cake…
Pouring it with a finest flour of wonderful people, a cup of milk of a sweet love, a pinch of baking soda of pain, a teaspoon of vanilla of failures, mix with butter of courage, a cup of sugar of happiness, dropped eggs of faith, squeeze a lemon of mistakes…
Now….
Stirring it with full strength to come up with a finest dough of…

Yes, I finally caught a live LIGHTS performance.
LIGHTS was scheduled to play at WTFest in Brantford on the Sunday. It rained that day. I myself do not mind, but my camera gear does not like getting soaked. Vincent did not get back to Brantford on Sunday. Apparently LIGHTS did perform that day. Was rather unhappy that I missed it.

I learned long ago that Google is your friend. I do random Google searches to see how this site ends up in the search results.
Doing a Google search for “Festival of Friends“, I found “Uniquely Toronto” near the top of the page. We are just below Reverbnation, which is a massive Internet site. We also made it just above the official “Festival of Friends” Facebook page.
I’m rather surprised, stunned and very Thankful for your help and support.
You folks have helped to spread the word about “Uniquely Toronto“, literally all around the globe.
I’m just one guy who wanted to share his love of Music and Concert Photography. It is you folks who are letting the World know about “Uniquely Toronto” and I again Thank You.
There is no way that some guy from Toronto running a small blog could rank higher in Google Search Results, than really huge internet sites. You folks have helped to make the impossible – surprisingly possible.
I’m stunned, humbled and very grateful. Thank You, Thank You and Thank You…
Vincent Banial, who runs a tiny blog called “Uniquely Toronto“.
Here are some photos of “The Jessica Stuart Few” performing on Monday, June 29th at St. James Park in Toronto.
Here are a few more photos from the Gloryhound concert at WTFest in Brantford.
Gloryhound is an awesome Rock N Roll band from Canada’s East Coast. They are signed with eOne Music Canada.

The Festival of Friends is without a doubt the best Music Festival that I have ever covered. It is held every year, now at the Ancaster Fairgrounds.
The Festival of Friends is not just about Music. It is more like an amazing shorter and smaller version of the CNE. There is a Midway. There are all sorts of really good food vendors. There are halls where things like Automobiles are on display. Of course there is a Beer Garden.
The Main Stage is at the lower end of a small hill. Great line of sight from front to back and from the sides.
Lots of on-site parking, except when one the Bands lands on the cover of Rolling Stone and there is another huge band set to play the same night. I’m thinking about a few years back, when The Sheepdogs were scheduled to play on a Friday night at the Festival of Friends. They had just hit the big time making the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine.
The festival had more visitors in that one night, than they usually got during all three days. Cars were parked all the way up to Hwy 403. The huge festival parking lots were jammed full.
I was incredibly lucky to have gotten there in the day time, before the madness started. People were flowing in the festival grounds until the bands started started playing. The Security people which take care of the Photogs were all stunned at the massively huge turnout. I heard numbers over 50K, up to around 75K people.
In a perfectly Canadian way, the evening went down without any incident that I was aware of. The fans Rock N Rolled and enjoyed the shows.
The Festival of Friends posted their show schedules earlier this week. Please mark your calendars. This is a Music Festival that is really worth going to. Superbly organized. Safe and Family Friendly. Always an amazing list of bands which will hit the stage at the FOF.
So without further typos from Moi, the following is the latest Festival of Friends Schedule:

Finally got a chance to visit the Luminato Festival, in Toronto this year. We had shot a lot of concerts at the 2014 Luminato Festival. I really enjoyed the low key,, up close and personal concerts. Huge contrast on Friday night, when I later headed to Nathan Phillips Square which was jam packed with people taking in a Toronto Jazz Festival concert.

“Al Di Meola” performed last night at the Toronto Jazz Festival.
Below are some photos from that “Al Di Meola” concert.

The “Art of the Storm” is an amazing Time Lapse video of a Supercell developing. It was shot in South Dakota near Rapid City on June 1, 2015.
Nicolaus Wegner, the Photographer, setup his Canon 5dmk2 on a tripod and shot this at one frame per second.

A new five song EP (titled “Monophone Heart“) is about to released by Toronto’s “The Key Frames“. This new EP was produced by DEREK DOWNHAM, who had previously worked with Serena Ryder.

If you make the wrong choice, life will give you another chance to make the right choice. Events will repeat, but the actors will be different. Everything could be different, except that which you are supposed to learn – ie the core reason for the event. I believe that every Human being has a predefined Timeline.
Below are two examples, which were in the News.
A long time ago, there was a shooting at the Eaton Centre (in Toronto) food court (UPDATE: I believe that it occurred on Sat. June 02 2012). That day a female American Tourist was eating in that Eaton Centre Food Court. Suddenly she felt ill and compelled to leave the Eaton Centre and go outside. Seconds after she left, a Gunman entered the Food Court. He went to the exact location where this woman had been eating. He proceeded to shoot people in the Food Court. Had that woman been there, she would have died. I will dig out the News Reports of this. This post is based on “facts”.
This is where the concept of a Timeline comes in. Death is not random in my opinion. The woman discussed above had reached a point where her Timeline “in this life”, had come to an end.
About one month after the Eaton Centre Food Court shooting, Jessica Ghawi, this same woman had returned back home to the US. She and her boyfriend went to see the premiere of a new (at the time) Batman movie (UPDATE: The Dark Knight Rises) (UPDATE: on Friday July 20 2012 in Denver Colarado).
As the Batman movie started, a stranger had entered the theater via a side door. That stranger pulled out a gun and started shooting people. Jessica Ghawi was shot and killed. Yes, the very same women that had missed getting shot at the Eaton Centre in Toronto about a month prior, was shot and killed. This is all documented in News Reports.
https://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2012/07/20/jessica-ghawi-redfield-batman-shooting_n_1688871.html
Her Timeline had come to an end, and so did her life.
In another situation a couple was vacationing in Brazil on the Pacific coast. Their vacation had ended and so they headed for the airport, to get a flight back to Europe. They missed their flight. I forget why. The plane that they should have gotten on, ended up falling out of the sky and now sits at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean off the eastern coast of South America. UPDATE June 2019 – Johanna Ganthaler and her husband Kurt were the couple who missed the flight.
UPDATE; June 2019 – Found a new link (the one above died). They were vacationing in Brazil. They had missed getting on Air France Flight 447, which crashed in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean
They took a different flight and headed home (Germany, if my memory is correct). About a month later they were involved in a serious automobile crash. A piece of windshield cut off the Wife’s head and the Husband died later in the hospital. Again I believe that their Timeline had ended. I’ll find the News Reports about this.
UPDATE Jun 2019 – that accident was in Austria and not in Germany. I cannot find the news article with the details of the accident and that the husband also died later in the Hospital. I added Updates instead of rewriting the post.

“Big Wreck“ was the Headlining Act at WTFest in Brantford, on Sat June 13.
Since today is a bad day for me posting “typos”, the rest of this post will just be photos.
I made it to the WTFest in Brantford on June 13. Very impressed with the way the festival was setup.

Gloryhound performing at WTFest in Brantford on June 13.
The first edition of WTFest is being held in Brantford Ontario, on June 13 and June 14. Yes, this weekend.

Really nice roster of Bands will perform on Saturday and Sunday: “Big Wreck”, “I Mother Earth”, “The Trews”, Hedley, Lights, USS, Peeler, “The Mohrs”, Gloryhound, “Sons of Revelry, “Ghost Town Orchestra”, “The Ascot Royals”, “Dear Rouge”, Harbour, “Steven ryan” and “Mark Wilson”.
The CNE is not too far away. Time to mark your calendars with all the Concerts that you will want to see at the CNE in 2015.
The following is the current list of CNE Bandshell Concerts, in Toronto, for the 2015 season:
I started processing the photos of “I Mother Earth” performing at Cosmo Music which were taken with my 2nd camera – Sony gear.
Cosmo Music held their annual Sale and MusicFest on June 06. “I Mother Earth” were the headliners for the concerts held at the 2015 Cosmo MusicFest.
Just got word that “I Wish Ferrari“, an amazing charity event, will be held again in 2015.
At “I Wish Ferrari“, Special Needs Kids get the ride of their life in a Ferrari or Lamborghini or other Exotic Car.

This song (Hey! I Gotta) “Get The F&$K Outta Here” is for everyone “stuck” in say a bad situation, a bad relationship or a bad marriage.
It can inspire someone to open their mind to a viable solution, because Bad Situations never do get any better (been there, done that).
Some wait far too long to finally say “Hey! I gotta Get The F&$K Outta Here” and then actually do it.
Diemonds is a super talented Band.

Diemonds are Toronto based Rockers, who will remind you of Guns and Roses.
They are fronted by Priya Panda, a sultry raven haired beauty with an awesome voice.
Daniel Dekay and C.C. Diemond provide the rockin guitar and smokin guitar riffs.
