Canadian International Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo is coming in March to Toronto’s International Centre.
Every year around March, Toronto has been blessed with a Hot Rod, Classic and Motorsports show. The show was always held at the International Centre (Airport Road and Derry Road) near the north end of Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.

In the recent years past the show was called MegaSpeed Customer Car & Truck Show. Prior to that version, it was also called Performance World. Prior to that, it was called the Motion Custom Car Show. The name did not matter, it was always a fun adventure to visit the show and gaze at the automotive magic on display.

2015 will usher in the “Canadian International Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo“. This latest incarnation will also be held at the International Centre, which is located near the north east end of Toronto’s Pearson International Airport (Airport Rd and Derry Rd area).

The 2014 show dates at presently set for March 13, 14 and 15. It will fill almost a quater of a million square feet of automotive viewing pleasure.

Johnsonville Sausage is one of the major sponsors of the new Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo. They will be sponsoring the large Johnsonville Stage which will lots of activities and presentations for show visitors.

Applications are still being accepted, for the 2015 version of the Gumball 3000 Rally.
Sadly, the Gumballers will “not” be visiting Toronto in 2015.
The 2015 Gumball 3000 Rally journey will end in Las Vegas on May 30th 2015.

The North American Motorcycle Supershow is billed as the largest Retail Motorcycle Show in North America.
Featuring almost half a million square feet of exhibit space.
They’ll have Live bands and Fashion Shows on three stages.
Over 1,000 motorcycles will be on display, filling six huge halls.
THE TORONTO INTERNATIONAL CENTRE will host the show. It is located at 6900 Airport Rd, (at Derry Road and Airport Road – near the Airport). If you have questions plse call 1-800-567-1199

Queen + Adam Lambert European Tour dates in 2015

The best concert that I have had the luck to be at, was a Queen concert with the late Freddie Mercury. It was simply awesome and remains a fond memory of what a really great concert can be.
The remaining members of Queen are touring again, but with Adam Lambert as the Lead Singer. This is an incredible opportunity to see and hear one of the very best Rock Bands ever. Seriously great musicians. Adam Lambert’s voice has the unique range that Freddie Mercury’s voice had.

I was down at the CNE grounds earlier today to get our Media Pass. Final touches were being done. Tomorrow The EX opens for another historic season.Music has always been a theme at the CNE. Along with the Bandshell Stage, you can catch more great bands and musicians at the Midway Stage.

Gumball 3000. Get to know Team Galag

When the Gumball 3000 came to Toronto, back in 20112, Team Galag was there. Super cool guys, driving some amazing Exotic Cars.
I thought that it might be an idea to feature some of the Ballers who will be participating in this year’s Gumball 3000.
Back in 2012, the Gumball 3000 got underway in New York City. It was interesting to watch the video clips. What stood out was Team Galag. They had custom T-Shirts made and were “giving them away” to the spectators who lined the sidewalks by the Starting Line. I firmly believe that life is much like a circle. What goes around, comes around. Some call it Karma. Team Galag has plenty of Good Karma.
There is a lot going on when the Gumball 3000 participants start out each morning. Yet, the guys from Team Galag were really great with the photogs. Yep photogs can be a bit of a pain, especially when you are in a hurry.
Another cool thing is that Team Galag supports causes.com. This year they are rallying to raise awareness for the Zahra Breast Cancer Association.
You have to check out Team Galag’s Super Cars, when the Gumball 3000 rolls into your town.

National Motorcycle and Tattoo Show coming to the Better Living Center at the Toronto CNE grounds on April 12th & 13th

This show has kicked off Motorcycle riding season in Ontario for 32 years.
On April 12 & 13 the 33rd annual National Motorcycle and Tattoo Show will come to the Better Living Center at the CNE grounds (in Toronto).
Very well run show. Lots of vendors, with tons of stuff for Motorcycles and riding. Many Local Toronto Tattoo Artists will also have booths at the show.
Mark your calendars. You don’t want to miss this show.

Gumball 3000 Get Togethers for February 2014

The Gumball 3000 Rally is a great idea, but only happens once per year.
Last year Gumball Get Togethers were started.
It looks like they will be holding more Gumball Get Togethers in 2014 and will also hold some across the pond in America.
Gumball 3000 Rally 2014 dates and locations
The Gumball 3000 Rally is on again starting on June 04 2014 with the arrivals of the Gumballers in Miami Florida.
June 05 2014, the Gumball 3000 will rally from Miami to Atlanta.
June 06 2014, they will rally from Atlanta to New York.
June 07 2014, they will drive across the Atlantic Ocean at breakneck speed (hey no speed limits there) to arrive in Edinburgh Scotland.
UPDATE for June 07 : since there are no gas stations (nor actual roads) on the Atlantic Ocean, the Gumballers and their amazing machines will fly from New York to Edinburgh.
Jun 08 2014, the Gumball 3000 Rally will drive to London from Edinburgh.
June 09 2014, the Gumballers will go from London to Paris France.
June 10 2014, they will drive from Paris France to Barcelona Spain.
June 11 2014, will bring an end to the Gumball 3000 Rally 2014 when they arrive in Ibiza from Barcelona.

Ford Fest at Centennial Park in Etobicoke on Sept 20 2013

Toronto Mayor Ford will be hosting the Etobicoke portion of his annual Ford Fest.
In the past the BBQ was held in the backyard of the Ford Family home.
The number of those dropping by for the event had kept rising.
This year instead of being held in an Etobicoke backyard, Ford Fest Etobicoke will be held at Centennial Park.
When? This coming Friday Sept 20. The festivities starts around 6Pm.
It was cool of Mayor Ford to call Etobicoke residents with an invite.
There will be free food (BBQ burgers). A Midway for the kids. Music performances. A chance to meet Mayor Ford. Sounds like a fun evening.
