Down With Webster photo in our sidebar area
my Wow, missed that one. I was featuring one of photos of Down With Webster, in the sidebar area of the site. Unfortunately, the link was to our previous CLiK CLiK Vic website on Zenfolio. I liked WordPress a lot better and so moved here and closed the Zenfolio site. Anyhow, all fixed now. One day I will go thru all the shots (as in thousands) and change the watermark from CLiK CliK Vic.
Below is the photo of Down With Webster that I’m talking about:
Thank You Google! Our prior post: Dom Perignon “Cabaret” has made it to the top of Google’s Search Results
As a way of getting my mind to shift to something positive, I try to post about things which our Readers would normally not come across. I love Matt Drudge‘s site called Drudge Report. IMHO, one key to his success is that one does not know what to expect each day when visiting the Drudge Report.
The last couple of posts found here showcase two amazing “Commercials” from Europe. Both are wonderful Works of Art and are true Eye Candy.
I check Google every once in while to see how we are doing. Thank You Google. Your Search Engine Results just changed my State. I’m now sporting a huge smile.
Why?
Do a Google search on the following : Dom Perignon “Cabaret”.
Click on this line to view that Google Search.
Google has our post as being the 2nd from the top. Harpers Bazaar is huge and beat us to the top spot. Our post beat out a post on the Wall Street Journal and also on the Fashion Week Daily. It is not easy to get on the front page of Google Search results. To be one of the top three results is something to celebrate.
The other Search engines like Duck Duck Go, Yahoo and Bing may pick up our posts after about a week. Google visits us at least once per day. Thank You again Google, You just changed my day.
Now I have to prepare my Taxes – yea I put it off to the very last minute. Apparently I have utill May 02 2016…

Our CLiK CLiK Vic Zenfolio site is now closed
Our CLiK CLiK Vic Zenfolio photo site/blog is no more. Lack of free time prevented me from running multiple sites. Google does not like finding duplicate posts. I found that out the hard way when I had two very highly similar (not quite but pretty much duplicates) posts on here and on the Zenfolio site. When Google got wind of the two posts, they stopped sending their Spiders. It has taken much effort to get Indexed again.
IN the past, I had also linked photos from our Zenfolio site to posts on this site. Those photos will no longer display. I’ll have to move photos to WordPress and kill the external site links. Great, more work to do with less and less time time to do it.
If a photo resided on our Zenfolio site you will get a msg icon saying that the item is being Protected by the owner (moi) because the Zenfolio site is no longer connected to the internet.
The above will have no effect on the newer posts. Some older posts could be affected. Bear with me while I move the photos over to this site.
BTW I think that Zenfolio.com is a great hosting company. If I had the time and or staff then I would have kept that site online..
I’ve been posting to our Uniquely Toronto Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/UniquelyToronto

I have not posted here for a few days, because I have trying to work on our latest Facebook page.
Lots of interesting posts have been added there. Plse click on the following URL Link to take you to the Uniquely Toronto Facebook page:

Friends, Romans and Fellow Countrymen please lend me your ears
July brought Vincent the joys of country cottage life on Lake Rosseau, up in Muskoka. Okay, at least on some weekends.
That meant no shooting, on those weekends. Except maybe on Sunday night, if I drove back into TO in time. It also meant no post processing of photos.
PP is done on a dedicated desktop PC with a Color Managed monitor. Laptops do not work well for that purpose.
As it stands, I’m a little backed-up. Add to that, our reestablishment of our Facebook presence. It all makes for rather busy weekdays and late evenings
Things worked out OK with posts made in advance to open and display on weekends.
I’m trying to keep our Uniquely Toronto Facebook page active. Thanks to Facebook’s news feed, I can link to some material which I think many will find interesting.
August is just around the corner and if all goes well there will be much to post about.
Still have not heard back from the CNE, about getting a Seasons Media Pass again this year.
They changed some things regarding Seasons Passes Even Exhibitors it seems now have to purchase a pass. Should we get a Media Pass, like last year, we’ll cover as many of the CNE 2015 concerts as possible.
So while you wait for more pics to be posted on this site, may I invite each and every one of you to visit our Uniquely Toronto Facebook page.

A special “Thank You” to everyone for spreading the word about “Uniquely Toronto”
I learned long ago that Google is your friend. I do random Google searches to see how this site ends up in the search results.
Doing a Google search for “Festival of Friends“, I found “Uniquely Toronto” near the top of the page. We are just below Reverbnation, which is a massive Internet site. We also made it just above the official “Festival of Friends” Facebook page.
I’m rather surprised, stunned and very Thankful for your help and support.
You folks have helped to spread the word about “Uniquely Toronto“, literally all around the globe.
I’m just one guy who wanted to share his love of Music and Concert Photography. It is you folks who are letting the World know about “Uniquely Toronto” and I again Thank You.
There is no way that some guy from Toronto running a small blog could rank higher in Google Search Results, than really huge internet sites. You folks have helped to make the impossible – surprisingly possible.
I’m stunned, humbled and very grateful. Thank You, Thank You and Thank You…
Vincent Banial, who runs a tiny blog called “Uniquely Toronto“.
Posts that are on the plate for the near future
I’m really messed up for time. I love posting to this site, but the really good posts take time to research.
This is also a reminder to myself. The following are some of the things that should show up in the future.

We “survived” the Domain Name change and also Google’s changes to their Mobile Search Algorithm
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
Search Engine Spiders had to re-index this site. Normally that is a death sentence, because for all intents and purposes, when the Domain Name is changed, the site becomes a brand new site to Search Engines.
Thank you for any and all help which was provided by the readers of this site. Special thanks also goes out the folks at paloalto Networks ( a Leading CyberSecurity firm).
With all the help, this site did not disappear from the major Search Engines.
Today, April 21 2015, Google changed their Algorithm for their Mobile Search. We got hurt just a “tiny” bit. The fix is to have slightly longer posts. Great, more of my typos to come your way…
Overall, things have turned out way better than I had anticipated. I had been rather worried.
Thanks one more time…
Vincent
Google just rated www.uniquelytoronto.com as being “Awesome! This page is mobile-friendly.”
On April 21 Google will update their mobile search algorithm.
