Diemonds performing their Inspirational song titled Hey! I Gotta “Get The F&$K Outta Here”
Video is courtesy of the MapleMetalRecords YouTube channel
This song (Hey! I Gotta) “Get The F&$K Outta Here” is for everyone “stuck” in say a bad situation, a bad relationship or a bad marriage.
It can inspire someone to open their mind to a viable solution, because Bad Situations never do get any better (been there, done that).
Some wait far too long to finally say “Hey! I gotta Get The F&$K Outta Here” and then actually do it.
Diemonds is a super talented Band.

Diemonds performed at the Canadian Music Week party, held by eOne Music Canada & Gibson
Diemonds are Toronto based Rockers, who will remind you of Guns and Roses.
They are fronted by Priya Panda, a sultry raven haired beauty with an awesome voice.
Daniel Dekay and C.C. Diemond provide the rockin guitar and smokin guitar riffs.

Jonathan Bates of Big Black Delta and Mellowdrone has had his place robbed and 90% of his worldly possessions stolen
[File under “Hail Mary” Posts]
Today I found out I was robbed of about 90% of my earthly possessions.
Gear, thousands of records, tons of books, stage lights, vacuum cleaner (that one esp. stings as it was a choice vacuum), etc.
To my local buds (eastside especially) who frequent all the music and gear stores:
-if you see something, or someone pawns something that looks like Mellowdrone or Big Black Delta gear, hit me up. (Fender Coronados, cases with the BBD or mellowdrone logo on them)
I am thankful that this was a non violent crime.
Atleast I still got some clothes and a petulant cat.

Queen performing in Toronto. Copyright (C) Vincent Banial
Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen is the top-selling song of all time. It was also the first single released from Queen’s then new album titled “A Night at the Opera”.
When it was released no one was sure if Radio Stations would ever play it, since it was a tad over 6 minutes long.
I was lucky to have seen Queen perform live. Memorable performance. That was the best concert that I have ever been to. I had shot that concert on slide film using a Nikon F2, with a legendary (and huge) 50-300mm f4 Nikkor zoom lens.
The BBC in Britain put together a great documentary about the making of Bohemian Rhapsody. It is full of interesting insights. The progrock70s YouTube channel has that BBC Documentary posted. YouTube permits embeding, so I thought that I would do so in this post.
Video is courtesy of the prorock70s YouTube channel
Since the Wayne’s World take on Bohemian Rhapsody was mentioned in the BBC documentary, I decided to make that video easy to find.

Behind Blue Eyes – awesome cover version performed by Mike Masse
Life does not change by itself.
When you’re flying high, you can see the world full of opportunities below and it’s fun and real easy to swoop down and try to grab onto them.
When the stark winds of darkness unexpectedly cross your path and you crash-land, life’s opportunities are still there waiting. It’s just that you can’t see the forest because all the damn trees are getting in the way. One’s Risk Aversion grows exponentially.
When Risk Aversion kicks into full gear, it is extraordinarily difficult to make any sort of change. You could feel stuck in a situation which is killing your soul, yet you tell yourself to hang in there “because things could get better”. Hey, they never do. More often than not, things just get worse and worse.
This awesome cover of Behind Blue Eyes is performed by a Singer and Guitarist named Mike Masse.

Mike’s cover version is great. Very nice Guitar work and Mike’s voice is an amazing fit for Behind Blue Eyes. Hope that you all enjoy this as much I do.
