Platinum Blonde’s first single titled “No Regrets” came out back in 1980. Fast forward to 2014, original members Mark Holmes (vocals & Bass) and Sergio Galli (Guitar and backup vocals) are still on the road but now with drummer Dan Todd.

 

 

I had shot Platinum Blonde a couple of years ago. They were on stage as part of the Yorkville Exotic Car Show – which hits Toronto on Fathers Day.

 

 

On Aug 22 2014, Platinum Blonde hit the CNE Bandshell Stage and performed to an overflowing audience. They sounded better than ever. Another Toronto band Dwanye Gretzky, opened for Platinum Blonde.

 

 

I’m hoping that I might catch another one their concerts this year.
