Since I wanted to eat, I figured that I would also check out the internet before hitting the bed again. I found the initial link to Variety.com on the superb Drudge Report web page. Continue reading

Western Mall in Sioux Falls Christmas Lights Display

This Christmas Lights show was moved from a home to the Western Mall in Sioux Falls.

Every year people donate about $25,000 at the Christmas Lights Display which is given to the Make A Wish Foundation.

BTW, the castle backdrop of this Christmas Lights Display is 24 feet tall.

The music used with the show is called “A Christmas Rock Medley” by Richard Campbell of Orpheus Studio in the UK.

How to build a Leaping Light Arch, a Pixel Tree and a Pixel Matrix Pixel Grid for an outdoor Christmas Lights Display

San Antonio Texas is home to the Johnson Family Christmas Lights Display (I’ll create a new post for it shortly).

The really neat thing is that Matt Johnson has created a series of  3 videos where he discusses how to create some of the Christmas Lights effects.

The first video details how to build a Leaping Light Arch.

The 2nd video will start after the first one is finished playing. That 2nd video details how to build a Pixel Tree.

When the 2nd video ends, then the 3rd video will start. The 3rd video details how to build a Pixel Matrix Pixel Grid.
