Babbel mobile apps can help you learn a new language by using your mobile device. Both Android and Apple IOS devices are supported by Babbel Apps.


When  at home or at the office, Babbel can be used with your home/office computer. Babbel.com can be accessed by any Windows-based PC, Apple Mac based computer or Linux machine.


Babbel’s foundation is based on the idea that  “Learning should be easy and effective”


Take a few minutes each day and before you know you will have started to learn a new language.


Babbel is owned by a Germany firm named Lesson Nine GmbH, which is based in Berlin.


Babbel.com offers up thousands of language courses. Each course take only a few minutes to complete. as you take more courses, you will find that build upon each other to help you retain what you are learning.


Their online course objectives are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment (CEFR


So what languages can you learn by visiting Babbel.com ?


They provide courses to learn 14 language. That includes the following: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Portuguese, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Dutch, Indonesian, Polish and Russian.


I tried it out and the lesson was short and interesting. You learn to read and speak at the same time. From what I could tell there is no charge for using the Babbel.com website. It is apparently supported by the by the European Regional Development Fund.
