I’am Happy because I know I should be!
My life has been packed of sweet, spicy and sour ingredients.. ..mix all together and will create a tasty life..
A mixture of life that will lead us to a half bake, perfectly cook or ended up to an over cooked journey.
.. We only live once..
Cook your life with enough ingredients of great experiences and seasonings of hardships so you be cooked to what should you be..
I’am now cooking my life to a beautiful cup cake…
Pouring it with a finest flour of wonderful people, a cup of milk of a sweet love, a pinch of baking soda of pain, a teaspoon of vanilla of failures, mix with butter of courage, a cup of sugar of happiness, dropped eggs of faith, squeeze a lemon of mistakes…
Now….
Stirring it with full strength to come up with a finest dough of…

The Festival of Friends is without a doubt the best Music Festival that I have ever covered. It is held every year, now at the Ancaster Fairgrounds.
The Festival of Friends is not just about Music. It is more like an amazing shorter and smaller version of the CNE. There is a Midway. There are all sorts of really good food vendors. There are halls where things like Automobiles are on display. Of course there is a Beer Garden.
The Main Stage is at the lower end of a small hill. Great line of sight from front to back and from the sides.
Lots of on-site parking, except when one the Bands lands on the cover of Rolling Stone and there is another huge band set to play the same night. I’m thinking about a few years back, when The Sheepdogs were scheduled to play on a Friday night at the Festival of Friends. They had just hit the big time making the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine.
The festival had more visitors in that one night, than they usually got during all three days. Cars were parked all the way up to Hwy 403. The huge festival parking lots were jammed full.
I was incredibly lucky to have gotten there in the day time, before the madness started. People were flowing in the festival grounds until the bands started started playing. The Security people which take care of the Photogs were all stunned at the massively huge turnout. I heard numbers over 50K, up to around 75K people.
In a perfectly Canadian way, the evening went down without any incident that I was aware of. The fans Rock N Rolled and enjoyed the shows.
The Festival of Friends posted their show schedules earlier this week. Please mark your calendars. This is a Music Festival that is really worth going to. Superbly organized. Safe and Family Friendly. Always an amazing list of bands which will hit the stage at the FOF.
So without further typos from Moi, the following is the latest Festival of Friends Schedule:

I have had many arguments about security software. One group especially got me going because to them Norton Security was the end all and be all. I finally got their so-called Tech to admit that to him Norton Security was the best because it had the largest market share. That’s like saying that GM automobiles are better than Rolls Royce automobiles because GM has a larger market share.
Of course Norton Security is very good. I believe that the security software created by Kaspersky Lab is better (your mileage may differ). Testing done by the Security Software testing site AV TEST http://av-test.org also top rates Kaspersky Lab security software. But I digress…our coverage of this major Cybersecurity Breach continues below.
The report on what Kasperky Lab had determined about the Cyber Bank Heist will be made public on Monday Feb 16.
Supposedly ATMs were instructed by the Hackers to dispense money at specific times.
Account balances were supposedly inflated and then the inflated amounts were transferred to Bank Accounts setup by the Hackers.
In the New York Times article it seems that Kaspersky Lab had supposedly seen evidence of hundreds of millions of dollars in supposed theft. The article implied that the Cyber Security Experts at Kaspersky Lab think that the sums stolen could possibly be multiple times more.
I will keep watching for the official Kaspersky Lab report on Monday. Till then you can learn more about this by visiting some of the links below.
The New York Times post which looks to be the main post which brought this to public light.
CNet’s post about the supposed Cyber Bank Heists.
ARS Techinca coverage of the Cyber Attack on Banks around the globe.
The Citizen post about this Hacker worldwide Bank Heist.
New York Times sub post about how Hackers infiltrated Banks.
I will continue to post about this as more is learned – most likely when that Kaspersky Lab report is released on Monday Feb 16 2015.

This blog is supposed to be about Events in and around Toronto. Sometimes I run across things which go way beyond the scope of this site’s Tag line. Other times I post stuff which has deep meaning to me and hope that it can have the same for others.
All those eclectic posts were scattered around this site. Now they can be found under the “Feed Your Head” section.
If you have a minute maybe check it out, by clicking on this line…

Shortly I’ll starting creating Musician profile posts. That would be along the lines of the one I did about “Chuck D. Keeping”.
Chuck is the amazing Drummer with Big Wreck and has also been the Sticks player with Suzie McNeil.
More than a few Musicians have visited our sites. I have a request of any Musicians visiting here. Plse let your Band or Record Company Publicist know about this site and that they should add our email (which is uniquelytoronto@mail.com) to their email distribution list. We are always more than happy to write about upcoming Tours or new Albums.
One email which I received recently was about Randy Bachman. Guess what, he has a new band. I’ll be posting about that soon.

I had setup blogs on other platforms, but have stayed with WordPress.com.
I recall when this blog was first started. Basically I had tried a new theme, more or less each day, over the course of a few weeks. One day I tried the Blaskan theme. Then said nah. Then came back to it. Then said nah again. Then started to work with it and have grown to really appreciate it.
WordPress.com provides “an amazing feature rich platform“.
My sincere gratitude is being extended to WordPress.com for hosting this blog.
I hope that Uniquely Toronto will continue to grow and serve its world-wide audience…

Sometimes the kind word of a total stranger can uplift the spirits of those who have lost a family member. Especially when that loss occurred on Christmas Day.
Acts of random kindness can make a difference…
We will all one day wake up and not believe what we see in the mirror. Each one of us will become an old man or old woman. Read the note below, left by the wise old man. Continue reading
Yahoo posted an interesting video about fishing right in Downtown Ottawa. Don’t laugh. Wait till you see what one of the guys in the video caught.

I used to love to go fishing. Also enjoyed driving up to Ottawa.
On more than one trip to Ottawa, I saw people fishing along rivers as we drove past on the highway.
It never occurred to me that one could catch really decent sized fish, by fishing near the Parliament Buildings in Downtown Ottawa.
In the Yahoo posted video, the guy catches either a huge Pike or a Muskie, along with a smaller Pike and a small Bass. Really surprising video. Wish that I had known this before.
