Google just rated www.uniquelytoronto.com as being “Awesome! This page is mobile-friendly.”
On April 21 Google will update their mobile search algorithm.
As per Business Insider, this change could impact many websites.
I add html code to the pages found here on Uniquely Toronto, to make them “easier” to read. If I add a border around a post, my html code often gets messed up. When that happens it’s not fun to fix, but the end result is worth it. It’s important to me that this site is easy for visitors to view and read.
Slate posted about the change that Google will be making. They coined it as being “Mobilegeddon”,
I was curious about how Google’s New Search Algorithm could affect this site. After all, Search Engines had to re-index this site recently because the URL became http://www.uniquelytoronto.com
So I visited the official Google provided Test Site at http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/
The good news is that Google now thinks that Uniquely Toronto is “Awesome! This page is mobile-friendly.”
Thanks Google.
Special Thanks also to WordPress.com, for making all of this possible.
