Led Zeppelin live on Danish TV in 1969

Click on this line to view the YouTube video of “Led Zeppelin live on Danish TV in 1969posted on the Jean Bonini YouTube channel.

A vintage video featuring four songs. Led Zeppelin changed their name from the New Yardbirds to Led Zeppelin in 1968. So this is how great the band was, only one years after they official became Led Zeppelin.

Interesting to see Jimmy Page playing a Fender Telecaster.

This video also includes John Bonham on Drums.

Memories on a passing breeze. Hope that you enjoy this blast from the past.

“Jimi Hendrix” performs “Purple Haze” in 1967

Sick like a dog this weekend. Thought that a bit of Jimi Hendrix would help lift the Purple Haze which has enveloped me.

It was outstanding to catch Canadian Icon “Bruce Cockburn” perform. Almost did not make it. I arrived well after the concert had started. So glad that it was a rather long concert.

The end of the concert was also very cool, in that “Bruce Cockburn came back on stage to do an encore for all his fans.

The awesome concert was part of Panamania Toronto.

Josh Ramsay, the Lead Singer, interacted with the audience from the far left of the stage all the way to the far right of the stage.

This guy did not stand still. Incredible to watch stage presence.

Later into their set Josh jumps off the stage into the Photog’s Pit, to get closer to that Band’s fans. This kind of stuff is rare for any band, let alone a Canadian one. He then proceeded to climb up and started to “body surf” in the audience, while singing. Again, something that one does not see here in “conservative” Canada.

Josh’s effort helped the fans feel like they were part of the performance. The fans really are the most important part of any musical performance. Band’s are on stage for their fans. The guys in “I Mother Earth” talk about it all the time. The Marianas Trench concert, showed that these guys also know this lesson very well.

Concerts are not just about the music. I have a great stereo, just ask my neighbors. I can listen to music at home. I go to concerts to “see” the band play.

The visual impact of Josh Ramsay’s performance was inspiring. This was old school, from Chubby Checkers “The Twist” to Elvis Presley. He worked the audience and the audience “loved it”.

Simply put, the Marianas Trench concert on July 15 at Nathan Philips Square, created life long memories for everyone in the audience.

The interaction with the audience that the Singer had was something that is seldom seen. His performance reminded one of the late Freddie Mercury, when he performed with Queen.

Will post concert pics when I have a chance to do some Post Processing.

“I Mother Earth” Complete Concert at “It’s Your Festival” on July 10 2015, in Hamilton Ontario

I was informed about this video by Dan, a close friend of “I Mother Earth”.

This video is the complete “I Mother Earth” Concert at “Its Your Festival” in Hamilton. I wanted to shoot that show, but there was no way that I get out to Hamilton on July 10 2015.

Thanks to the gcarn YouTube channel for creating this video and making it available on YouTube.

I Mother Earth” is an amazing band. I’ve seen them do a hour and half set and then come off stage and immediately do a meet and greet with fans. No break whatsoever. This is group of Musicians, “who really care about their fans“.

The first time that I saw “I Mother Earth” perform was at Cosmo MusicFest. They set lasted about 1.5 hours and on a very sunny day. After their set finished the band did not head to an air-conditioned area. Instead they all headed to the side of the stage for a meet and greet with their fans. No break what so ever. Rarely does one see such commitment by a Band to their fans.
