Billy Talent performed an amazing show at the NXNE Festival in Toronto

Billy Talent put on an energetic show. I was shooting pics at the NXNE Festival on June 15. Great musicians played that day.

The difference between being a great musician and putting on an amazing concert performance is huge. Billy Talent had both parts down pat. Solid musicians with a dynamic singer.

By the time Billy Talent came onstage at the NXNE, the crowds overfilled the Yonge Dundas Square. Police had closed off Yonge Street to automobile traffic. The audience went from the stage all the way across Yonge Street to the Eaton Centre.

BTW, the NXNE Festival put on the Yonge Dundas performances “for FREE”. The bands came from all over. Millencolin arrived from Sweden. Big Black Delta came from California. Canadian Bands were well represented, such a CTZNSHP from Montreal. All were great musicians.
