2015 Fred Loya Christmas Lights display, over 450,000 lights
Last year, we featured Fred Loya’s 2014 Christmas Lights Display. This years it is better and bigger with over 450,000 individual Christmas Lights.
This new video of the 2015 Fred Loya Christmas Lights Display was filmed using a Phantom Drone. We get a bird’s eye view of this beautiful display

The parking info below was from 2014. I believe that there is still no parking by Fred Loya’s home. I assume that nearby school parking lot will be open for visitors in 2015.
If you drop by to view the Christmas Lights, plse park at the nearby Montwood High School.

How about a new guy, Travis Kalanick, who founded Uber.com (the Taxi Driver’s nightmare). Well Travis is worth $3,000,000,000.00 US Dollars more today than he was worth on Jan 01 2015. The Tax Driver protest in Toronto today, which aimed at Uber did not have any affect on Travis’s net worth or $6,000,000,000.00 US Dollars.

It makes me wonder how someone could be proud of such behaviour and post the above video of it on social media.
The McDonalds Manager was “amazing“, to put up with this customer’s tirade. Profanity, name calling and threats. All this because the customer was asked to wait “two” minutes to receive her order of three friggin cookies.

On Thursday Dec 03, between 8pm and 9pm, Bloomington Minnesota Police checked a motorhome which was parked by a hotel. Inside they found an unresponsive male. An ambulance was called.
It has been confirmed by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office that said male was deceased and that it was Scott Weiland.
Scott Weiland was a former singer with Velvet Revolver (Slash’s band after Guns & Roses broke up) and also with the Stone Temple Pilots.

I keep getting calls to trade “Opium”. No not drugs! “Opium” stands for “Other People’s Money”.
You see, I used to Invest and trade Equities for a living. That was trading my own account. It grew from almost nothing to providing a nice living.
For me to trade “Other People’s Money – ie Opium” would be strange. You train yourself not to sweat losses. You also train yourself to take on more and more risk. All this while maintaining a healthy respect for Risk Aversion.
For me to join a Private Equity Trading firm would mean me moving to New York City. So I figured that I would check out rentals there. After about a year I could decide to stay and then buy a condo.

The listing for a Penthouse on the 17th floor of the Lowell Hotel in Manhattan seemed perfect. I will not live in a super high rise tower. If there is a problem, you have a long way to get back to ground level and I’m not an Angel therefore I cannot fly….
Being in the luxury Lowell Hotel is great, especially if you have guests over. Just call down to the kitchen and have food and wine brought to your door. Maid service is there, so you don’t have to worry about hiring and trusting someone with your home. That are many benefits.
One could rent the Penthouse for only $300,000 US per month. Yes that is expensive when compared to Toronto, but not so much for New York City.
Martin Zweig, another Trader (but he was famous), enjoyed living in the top three floors Penthouse of the Pierre Hotel in New York City. I guess that I could follow in his footsteps. I used to enjoy watching Marty Zweig banter with Louis Rukeyser,on the Wall Street Week show on PBS. He was an extraordinary Trader.

This is young Kid has many detailed memories of a past life as a WW2 US Fighter Pilot.
His parents were able track down, via US Government Service Records, that said US Fight Pilot had in fact died during World War 2 and in the manner and location described by this young lad. Other memory details have also been verified and confirmed.
When he met the sister of said Fighter Pilot, the Kid knew her name and that there was a second sister and also named her.
