Ferrari Owners are amazing. On July 15 2012 Daytona Auto Centre along with Bodies by Design Fitness Studios held the 8th Annual Edition of I WISH FERRARI, which offered special needs children the ride of a lifetime in a Ferrari super car in an effort to raise spirits. A huge number of Ferrari owners came out, along with a few other Exotic Car owners. This annual event was held in Woodbridge Ontario – a suburb of Toronto.

It was an uplifting day from the time you arrived at the event. Magical lifelong memories would be created. The smiles and looks of joy on the faces of young special needs kids was priceless.

The huge mall parking lot was filled with assorted models of the world famous Super Car which is Ferrari. There were also a few Lamborghinis, a few Maseratis, an Aston Martin DB9, a Fort GT and a classic Fiat Sports Car. I may have missed a brand. I have never seen so many Ferrari Super Cars in one location at the same time. It looked like there were more Ferraris at this Woodbridge event than at the large Yorkville Exotic Car Show.

There were a few events in Toronto, in 2012, where Exotic Car owners had gathered for different reasons. The Gumball 3000 Toronto stopover in Yorkville brought over 100 amazing autos to town. The Yorkville Exotic Car Show filled Bloor Street with Exotic, Classic and Kit cars of assorted makes and models.  Each of those events were fun to view and to shoot. But the I WISH FERRARI was unique. It was not about owners having a great time or proudly showing their personal Super Car. It was only about the special needs children. To put a smile on their face and to give them a happy lifelong memory. This event was not about the owners nor their vehicles. That’s what made the huge turnout so special. Showed me just how amazing Ferrari owners are.

I will post more info about the 2013 I WISH FERRARI event, when details become available. It should be held sometime in July. If you are the lucky owner of a Ferrari or other Exotic Sports Car, please consider joining this event. It is really unique. The smiles of joy will melt your heart, as they did mine in 2012.
