“Get it on” Bang a Gong became a major hit for T Rex. That song brought them to Toronto.

At the CNE Grandstand, T Rex was the opening act. Next up was April Wine. The big Headliner was The Beach Boys. Not sure how drunk or stoned the Booking Agent was to book such a show.

The video below is of a live performance of “Get it on” by T-Rex. It also features a special guest, Elton John playing the piano with T Rex.
