Photo of a Poster from the 1885 edition of what is now the CNE – Canadian National Exhibition
Back in 1879 the Toronto Industrial Exhibition was born.
That name stayed until 1912 when the Toronto Industrial Exhibition was officially renamed the Canadian National Exhibition.
The photo is of a poster for the Toronto Industrial Exhibition from 1885. Neat time capsule.
Photo is courtesy of the Canadian National Exhibition facebook page
